Hypertension – Prinzmetal’s or Variant Prophylaxis of Cronic Stable Angina

Active Ingredient

1 tablet of Amlotad® contains 5mg or 10mg amlodipine (as amlodipine maleate).

Indications
Amlotad® (amlodipine tablets), is indicated for:

·         Essential hypertension

·         Chronic stable- and vasospastic angina pectoris

Contraindication

Amlotad® is contraindicated in patients with:

·         Severe hypotension

·         Shock including cardiogenic shock

·         Hypersensitivity to amlodipine, other dihydropyridines or to any of the excipients.

·         Heart failure following acute myocardial infarction (within the first 28 days).

·         Left-ventricular outflow obstruction (e.g. significant aortic stenosis)

·         Unstable angina pectoris (excluding Prinzmetal's angina or vasospastic angina)

Packaging

Amlotad® is presented in a white, round and flat, scored tablet, packed in blisters-strips in a cardboard folding box of 20, 30, 50, 98, 100, tablets tablets.

Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
